I baked these in a 425 degree oven rather than frying them... and I left out the sauce... but my family LOVED them! I fabricated them almost a month ago, and am going to make them once more tonight! Thank you then much!!! :)
01/18/2006
Crawly!!!!!Just similar my Mom makes.we loved it! The just changes I made were that I did non accept coriader, just I used a teaspoon of Dijon mustard, and I had Italian bread crumbs instead of plain. Otherwise I followed it exactly. Thank you lot soooo much.
03/29/2006
The meatballs were very flavorful. I used dijon mustard instead of coriander and added about 1/3 cup of sour cream to the mushroom soup. It was delish! Husband liked it too!
07/25/2007
I'm a new wife and made these for my married man over noodles. He asked me where I bought the meatballs. When I said I fabricated them, He gave me a high 5 across the table. I made a smaller version of the recipe for the two of u.s., but they were withal wonderful. I browned them in a frying pan, but then put them in a small casserole dish, added the soup, and them left them in the oven for a few hours on depression. Still wonderful!

WE Have A WINNER!!!! I've simply made meatballs a couple times in the past 15 years of marriage, more often than not because *I* don't like them even though information technology is one of hubby'due south favorite meals. I wanted to brand a special meal for him and I tried this recipe. The meatballs turned out great; I fifty-fifty ate two of them. The only real difference was I made ours with footing venison (we have a lot of information technology in the freezer this time of year).
12/11/2006
These are very satisfying and easy to prepare. Just watch them advisedly when you're cooking them in the covered pot as they will burn hands. In one case I turned my oestrus down and got them to brown instead of fire I had a winner! They are a piddling crispy on the outside and cooked through on the inside. Savory and succulent. I skipped the white sauce/cream soup and served them with spagetti noodles and marinera sauce.
04/10/2006
The meatballs seemed a petty on the nutmeggy side to me (and I even added a bit less than called for). But I think in one case y'all add sour cream to the soup (as someone helpfully suggested already), the flavors even out. Perhaps the title subconsciously conjured up my kindergarten imaginings of big sloppy italian meatballs all covered with cheese, rather than a more swedish-meatball-blazon of flavor. Thanks anyhow :)
01/19/2011
This was super yummy. The nutmeg made this recipe. We served over noodles... will definatley make this once again...
05/26/2006
I found these meatballs to be quite tasty-in a different sort of way. I'm glad I just put i/2 tsp of the nutmeg, though, as someone suggested. I didn't take the mushroom soup, then I just made a white sauce and cooked it for a few minutes with the meatballs, which flavored the sauce just right. My husband put catchup on them, then I fabricated him eat some simply every bit they were so that he could help me rate the recipe. He gave a thumbs-up, so that probably means v-stars!
03/04/2007
I love this recipe! I accept made them several times, and I took them to a luncheon last calendar week and was asked for the recipe several times. Give thanks y'all for the great recipe! PS Honey the name!
02/21/2011
This recipe is v star worthy with a few modifications. I didn't accept coriander and so I added about a tbsp of fresh lemon juice. Also added almost 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper and nearly one tbsp of minced garlic to the onions. For the cream of mushroom sauce I fabricated my ain soup (using Dianne's recipe which is Astonishing). I added several splashes of ruby-red vino to the sauce and also about one/iii cup sour cream. We will definetly be making this one once more and soon! Cheers for the recipe:)
04/09/2010
We had a big crowd to feed tonight so I doubled the meatballs (with only a pinch of nutmeg and added a splash of foam) and tripled the sauce. Sauted the onions until tender and set bated. Sauted approx. 12 oz. sliced button mushrooms in minor corporeality of butter in aforementioned pan until dry, added a splash of white vino and connected to cook until all liquid evaporated and set the mushrooms aside. Put the soup in the pan and added milk (to desired consistancy)instead of water and added about one/four loving cup of beef stock. Returned the meatballs to the sauce and simmered until the rest of dinner was set. Served over wide egg noddles with corn and dinner rolls. Everyone loved these meatballs and asked that they be added to the rotation. This is a very easy recipe with exceptional results. Thank you for sharing!
06/24/2008
Mmm... comfort food. This was then easy to put together. I loved the simplicity of the sauce. The meatballs were groovy too, only felt every bit though they could've been improve. Maybe it was the lack of coriander (I didn't have any on hand). Thanks for the recipe!
08/02/2011
So yummy. The whole family loved them. I picked it considering of the proper name and loved information technology anyway. Thankyou
06/10/2008
I'1000 giving this 4 stars based on my 8 twelvemonth quondam son'south review of these meatballs...he loved them. My husband would give this a 3.five if he could give a one-half rating. I'd have to hold. The nutmeg flavor in these is just as well potent, in my humble opinion...too potent for a meatball. However...all is not lost...I plan on trying to make a stroganoff meatball next time using this recipe as a basis. (And I volition completely eliminate the nutmeg, simply double up on the onion). Thank you. :)
x/06/2010
Holy Moo-cow, these meatballs are awesome! I can't imagine letting one fall off the table. I doubled the recipe. I didn't take fresh parsley, then substituted one tsp dry for the i Tbsp fresh. Fabricated this with the egg noodles. Corking selection! My husband took a bite of the meatballs and said WOW! Which is a HUGE compliment coming from him. I will DEFINITELY make these again.
05/15/2011
wow thanks this is really good my picky step daughter goes yum what'due south this and i told her the name and she just laughed merely information technology won me when y'all made my 11 yr quondam dear it....i just flavored and then with wheat bread crumbs, garlic salt and onion pulverisation with some mrs. nuance and yet practiced and child approved thanks will brand once more.
03/15/2010
My four kids, fight over the leftovers. We love this recipe.
05/fifteen/2011
Made it every bit written, but I added 2 cups of beef gravy to the final stir. Serving it over mashed potatoes I idea it needed a bit more than sauce.
01/04/2011
DEE-lish! My kiddos loved it and they are hard to please!
04/21/2010
I was looking for a recipe for swedish type meatballs to serve with noodles and this is the one! I prepared a mean solar day ahead so that I could reheat for dinner the adjacent night and this worked fine. I used the nutmeg every bit called for in the recipe and quite liked it. I subbed dried parsley for fresh as I didn't have any and I used gilt mushroom soup. I likewise added about 1/2 cup of sour foam and a trivial worchestershire sauce to the sauce/gravy.....a footling extra water likewise every bit I was really trying to stretch the sauce. I volition definitely make this once again and I will double the sauce next time. Very good recipe!
01/29/2011
My mom made this recipe growing upwardly and information technology is my all-time favorite meal, served over mashed potatoes. I like gravy so I always employ two cans of soup, and our recipe doesn't utilise nutmeg. I'll have to endeavor baking the meatballs, since you do have to exist attentive turning the meatballs every bit they brown on the stove pinnacle.
07/17/2009
I thought this recipe was amazing, I changed a few things I only added one-half the nutmeg, I added dry mustard pulverisation and the corriander, I added a tbs. of soya sauce, I added about a tbs. of parmesean cheese, I added Italian bread crumbs instead of plain. For the sauce I used 2 cans of mushroom soup and added half tin can of water half a can of milk so the sauce wasnt as thick but it still thickened up, I baked my meatballs in the oven instead of frying them and added the sauce on top and baked until it was bubbly...I served it over egg noodles and it was amazing!!
02/21/2011
A Defininte at my house, even the pickey eater ate them, but minus the sauce
03/20/2011
My husband liked this recipe merely I halved the nutmeg and tripled the gravy. I nonetheless thought it was terrible and the nutmeg overpowering. I didn't finish what was on my plate. =( Information technology looked so good besides!
09/09/2010
Swell flavored meatballs. Like shooting fish in a barrel to make. Prissy weeknight dinner that even the picky 8 twelvemonth one-time liked! Thanks for sharing
x/02/2010
These are dandy......either with the mushroom soup or with spaghetti! The simply meatball recipe I use at present!
xi/xx/2008
We all loved information technology and oh my gravy! they smelled so practiced when they were cooking. I baked them on 400 for about twenty minutes and them turned them over. I didn't have all the spices, just I used italian bread crumbs and I think that made up that. I besides added nearly 1 loving cup of infinitesimal rice. It helps suck up the extra grease from the not-so-lean beefiness. I made a gravy west/ the can of cream of mushroom soup, 2 packets of brown gravy mix and 1 one/ii c. of water. And then served it over egg noodles. I will definately make these once again. They didn't take long to course and since I baked them, they were pretty low maintenance since they were baked.
07/24/2010
I wasn't expecting much merely WOW, was I impressed. I didn't use Coriander, not a fan only I used 1 tsp of dijon like others suggested and much less nutmeg. I did leave the drippings from the meatballs in the pan when I added the Cream of Mushroom. I added about 2 tbs of sour cream. This was succulent and I will make it again. The meatballs were so moist.
05/01/2010
I just accept to say that this was a big hit with my 4 yr old girl...Just the proper noun of the dish lone made her giggle...:) The gustatory modality was very nice thank you for sharing.
07/31/2008
Whole family loved this! I did add a loving cup of sour cream to the soup only to ad some zing and thin it a bit - will make again!
07/08/2008
I added only a piddling white vino to deglaze before calculation the soup. Delicious. I did employ pre-cooked (frozen) meatballs for a quick dinner, and served over roasted garlic mashed potatoes. First-class, thanks for the mail.
xi/29/2008
Entire family loved this - my toddler asked for seconds which is unheard of! My hubby does not similar coriander, and I didn't have nutmeg on hand, so I used another poster'south suggestion and substituted with stoneground mustard. Nosotros are an anti-mushroom family unit, so used cream of celery instead, and added 1/3 loving cup no-fat sour foam to thicken information technology upwardly. Browned the meatballs for v minutes or then, and so put them in a casserole dish, poured the sauce overtop and baked at 350 degrees for a little over an hour. Served the meatballs and sauce over egg noodles. Cheers for a great recipe that everyone loved!
02/21/2008
Not sure why everyone is raving nearly these meatballs. I institute them to exist very dry and tasteless. There is way as well much bread crumbs. They have the potential to be good meatballs with some tweaking.
10/15/2008
Very good recipe!
09/28/2007
I was disappointed of this recipe after reading the rave reviews... I used some leftover meat needed to cook upwards and mayhap it wasn't a full pound because these meatballs were VERY dry. My husband said they were fine but I couldn't finish mine. The flavor seemed squeamish (I only put near 1/2 tsp. nutmeg spice and there was a nice sweet flavour about them) but I wouldn't brand it over again without calculation more than egg or less breadcrumbs or something. I used very finely basis breadcrumbs, and then that may have been the problem.
05/03/2009
A good piece of cake recipe. Hubby doesn't like "creamy" gravies so I made a uncomplicated brown gravy. It tasted excellent over mashed potatoes.
10/25/2008
I was surprised at how practiced this dish tasted! At beginning I was a little skeptical of the fact that there is no salt in the meatballs directly, but they turned out very well. I made them bigger and browned them in olive oil, and so took them out and made the sauce; I and then returned the meatballs to the sauce and let them simmer until done. I also added some sour foam to the sauce in the very terminate and I thought that that was a very good add-on- just added a petty extra punch. My husband kept saying how good these were and told me to brand them once again soon! Thanks for the recipe :)
07/08/2009
This recipe was a striking with my entire family.
11/13/2010
This was pretty expert. My family unit enjoyed it.
03/01/2010
This has great potential with some modifications. Seasoned bread crumbs add together an additional light flavour, using fresh minced garlic instead of garlic salt reduced sodium and gives information technology a more "fresh" gustation, one tablespoon of stale parsley is just as good as the fresh in a pinch, nutmeg is a potent spice so it should be used lightly (I recommend one-half a teaspoon or a fiddling less than that for the amount of meat in this recipe). Too, one can of the soup isn't plenty to make a flossy sauce. This sauce would fair better with two cans of soup, one-half-one can equal amounts ruby-red wine and water, also as some additional sauteed mushrooms. Onto the cooking method... I chose to make them at 400F for 10-15 minutes, flipped them over and then cooked another 10-15 minutes. Whisked together the ingredients for the sauce and poured information technology over the meatballs afterwards they were nicely cooked; placed the pan back in the oven and cooked it until the sauce bubbled. Tossed everything over egg noodles and it was a nice repast. As previously mentioned, more sauce is necessary to coat the dish sufficiently. Pairs well with a crisp, greenish salad.
09/15/2008
Very skillful! I baked information technology at 425 for 15 min as was recommended earlier past another member and threw in some cumin and a few other spices to my personal liking it was really good. Wasn't greasy at all which is what commonly happens when I fry it. Didn't burn either. Groovy recipe for decorated moms and dads!
01/08/2012
I used 1 loving cup of crumbled up corn chex instead of bread crumbs and horseradish mustard instead of coriander. Found it to be most excellent.
04/25/2008
Hubby is allergic to cilantro and coriander so I omitted it. Used garlic and onion pulverization, did milk to my desired consistency and omitted the water. The consequence was two children asking for thirds and when daddy came domicile they helped themselves to his dinner besides. Definitely making again! Made it over my mushroom rice recipe every bit I didn't desire to run to the store and get noodles.
ten/26/2010
I institute my meatballs to take manner as well much breadcrumbs, next time I recollect I will only use iii/4 cup. I also simply used 1/4 tsp of nutmeg and used the total tsp of coriander. I had to add a splash of milk because of the breadcrumbs. Other than that they smelled awesome while I baked them, 425 oven for 18 min. They tasted banal coming out of the oven, maybe more garlic and onion. Once in the sauce they moistened upwards a fleck, so it'south non that I hated the recipe it is but I was actually looking for a flavourful meatball before the sauce. As well with the sauce I added mini bella mushrooms sauted in butter, garlic and white wine. I added two cans of soup, a one-half can of milk and 1/2 cup of sour cream. I served over egg noodles. I will make this over again, but with the same changes.
03/14/2008
5-star for my family! These were easy to make and non a single thing left over! GREAT season!! My ane and 2 yr old ate every bite! My husband skipped the gravy and dipped in spicy A-1 (with Tabasco added)...mmm, call up I might add a dash or two to the mix next time for even more flavor! Cheers for sharing such a unproblematic and delicious recipe!!!!
02/14/2008
Very flavorful meatballs! I used ground turkey and chose to stuff them with swiss cheese and mushrooms and so left out the egg and breadcrumbs so it would be easier to handle. For the sauce, I used the tin can of cream of chicken soup, ane 1/4 cups sour cream, 1/2-three/4 cup milk, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, common salt, parsley and one/3 cup white wine. Really succulent! I'll make them over again with the egg and breadstuff crumb. They're kind of like swedish meatballs.
03/03/2008
Delicious! The family loved these meatballs served over smashed potatoes. Too bad at that place wasn't more than gravy! I used Amy's organic mushroom soup and added some sour foam. I did likewise substitute freshly footing and toasted oats for the bread crumbs because that is what I had available. Overall, excellent!
12/14/2008
This was great and pretty easy to make.I followed exactly what the recipe called for and served with mashed potatoes. Will definetly brand again!
11/22/2015
Exquisite Swedish meatball recipe. I did not change anything about the meatball recipe. I did add sour cream one/3 loving cup, and a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce. Everyone loved it. Oh and I broiled them at 425 for 23 min. I accept horrible luck panfrying meatballs. My 8 yr old son Hashemite kingdom of jordan loved them. I made two batches one with onions i without and doubled the sauce. Served with buttered parsley egg noodles and croissants.
11/05/2008
Awesome! Very yummy meatballs. I like many others used the dijon mustard instead of the coriander. I also added beef stock to my mushroom soup to thin it downwardly. Otherwise I followed it exactly and they are nifty.
02/12/2006
I was pleasantly suprised. I oasis't really meaty dishes since I was pregnant, but I tried this one for my husband, and I enjoyed information technology.
07/16/2008
DELISH! This dish will exist a regular at our house. (I did use some dijon mustard). Equally much as I love Spaghetti & Meatballs.....this was a welcome alter. ...judge we all have unlike taste buds, merely I can't imagine anyone NOT loving these. Thanks for the recipe. Ours didn't accept a chance to 'fall off the table' they were gobbled down and then chop-chop! Adorable proper name for the recipe! :)
09/twenty/2008
Succulent and easy!
09/25/2008
This was superb! I did modify to include one/2 cup sour cream in the sauce and eliminated 1/two cup water. Added a 1/2 tsp of tarragon and a tin can of mushrooms. I did apply brown/spicy mustard instead of coriander too. I also served this over spaghetti squash and this was an awesome dinner! give thanks you for the recipe.
07/11/2008
Yummy and easy.
05/28/2008
I didn't have the corriander and decided confronting the nutmeg (non a fan of the spice), and sauted fresh sliced mushrooms with the balls. The balls held together terrific, and the kids loved information technology. Cheers for sharing!
10/05/2008
This is an excellent meatball/with gravy recipe. The second time I made these, I used ii cans of mushroom soup for more gravy and added 1 tsp beef granules for a richer gravy. This is a keeper recipe. Thanks!
09/23/2009
This dish was great! My husband and kids loved information technology. Side by side time, I am going to add more sauce and some fresh mushrooms to it. I am not a fan of nutmeg but it was very balmy. Can't wait to make this over again.
05/05/2008
Merely delicious.
08/26/2010
The flavour was great! I made it "as is" but it came out a trivial dry. I made over rice, simply didn't have enough of the "sauce" to drizzle over the rice. I'll brand information technology again.
08/03/2008
I had iii pounds of hamburger, so I fabricated information technology all into meatballs. I fabricated a mess, trying to cook these in a frying pan, so I broiled the rest in the oven on a broiler at 350º. I now have enough for 2 more than meals in the freezer. These will work with spaghetti, other soups, or in sandwiches. Four hard to delight adults said 'yummy'.
12/02/2008
Much too much nutmeg for my taste, just otherwise good.
03/26/2008
Absolutely loved these!! I used dijon mustard also. They were and so good. I had never fabricated anything like these earlier. Definitely will continue this one on mitt.
07/30/2008
corriander powder NO! This was non to our taste. They tasted like vinenna sausages.
07/08/2009
This recipe is groovy! And so easy to make! I actually used the meatball mixture to stuff green and blood-red peppers then baked in the oven, perfect!
04/xvi/2008
Currently, my husband and I are on the South Beach Diet, phase 1. I did not change anything in this recipe except I omitted the breadstuff crumbs. These were fantastic and had such a slap-up, different flavor. I served information technology with salad and mixed green beans in with the foam of mushroom soup. Delish! Thank you for the recipe.
02/04/2009
Awsome recipe.. the merely thing I did unlike was to use half ground turkey and half lean footing beef, parmesan staff of life crumbs, a little scrap of cayenne pepper and a ton more garlic. I broiled instead of cooking them in a pan because I doubled the recipe and they wouldn't fit in the pan. I fabricated a pan full of HUGE meatballs and my young man literally ate almost the entire affair.. no joke. I served over mashed potatos with peas. Good comfort food.
01/07/2009
I loved this recipe!! It was such a hit with the whole family. Instead of coriander I added honey mustard and the recipe said to add 1 can of cream of mushroom simply I did also to take more than sauce for the noodles. In one case y'all try this recipe you will never make meatballs any other way! DELICIOUS!!!
02/12/2009
These were good. The coriander and nutmeg add an interesting sweet flavor to the meatballs. Hubby and I both felt like they were missing salt. I used minced garlic rather than garlic salt, and didn't desire to add together too much common salt since condensed soups are known for being salty. I'll brand these again though, I'll only add a scrap more than salt. I used two cans of cream of mushroom soup, some milk and a little sour cream for the sauce. We'll take this again, and hopefully the infant will fell well plenty to endeavor it.
06/x/2014
Tasty, just my meatballs were a bit dry, might accept been my fault for baking them too long. Flavor was all there, tasted better without the soup.
xi/11/2013
I loved this recipe as did my husband. A dissimilar way to use hamburger. Inexpensive and tasty.
06/05/2015
Fashion too much nutmeg, and instead of calculation h2o to the soup, add together milk or one-half and half.
12/12/2016
Excellent! My husband doesn't usually like meat with nutmeg only he liked these a lot. They are going in the recipe box! Next time I will either add together more sour cream to the gravy or some other can of mushroom soup. I might brand this into a casserole adjacent time likewise. Changes I made: - pan-fried the outside then put in the oven at 425 to 130° - added sour foam to the gravy - added allspice and a couple green onions to meatballs - substituted dry mustard considering I didn't have coriander
01/01/2009
I am a nutmeg lover, only thought it gave the meatballs a strange gustatory modality when combined with the cream of mushroom soup. I'll stick with my old meatball recipe.
02/09/2018
Cooked as is and use to wow my wife's friends. Cheers for this archetype.
09/xiv/2015
It is an awesome recipe and easy to make!!!! The husband loved it and re friends that came for dinner literally licked their plates!!!! Deffinately a recipe can recommend and I will cook more often! :)
01/28/2020
you guys just made me look like a gourmet chef! thank you for sharing this. I never would have imagined this combo. I didn't have coriander so Alexa told me to use cumin. I also made mine on the smaller side so they simply took about x min to cook. incredible flavor! I put my parsley sprinkled over the top every bit a finish instead of in the mix. I likewise added mushrooms sauteed before I put the soup in and added plenty half and half to make my consistency.
03/xix/2022
Easy tp follow directions...substituted cilantro for parsley...delicious.
09/11/2016
I got 14 meatballs out of this, each about the size of a large walnut. The family unit liked this dish. The combination of spices is unusual but variety is good. The only change I made to the ingredients was I used three cans of soup, I'd rather have as well much "sauce" available than besides fiddling. Also, as some other reviewer suggested, I baked the meatballs at 425 for thirty minutes. This was too long for my meatballs and if I were to do it again I'd bump it down to nearly 23 minutes. I served them over egg noodles. It was a nice looking and pleasant dish.
02/21/2009
When ever I make this I always get huge reviews. People e'er call me the next twenty-four hour period and ask me for the recipe. I used local wild mushrooms for extra flavor.
01/22/2019
If I could give this twenty stars, I would! This meatball recipe is my become- to for spaghetti and meatballs. I use a mixture of footing venison and pork. Only exist cautious not to over mix and have your time while cooking them. Information technology seems to a little time consuming to make homemade meatballs after a long mean solar day at work but it's worth it!
01/eleven/2009
I followed this exactly as written and it turned out great. I used a cookie scoop to form the meatballs and served it over egg noodles. My two boys, 6yrs and ii.5yrs, take never been so quiet at dinner. Excellent!
03/06/2010
Astonishing recipe. I take tried endless times to go this consistency and gustation for me meatballs... amazing really! Thank you! :)
10/22/2013
I doubled the recipe and still I had to police the family unit. I was really hoping for leftovers. The family loved it. I made a few adjustments to the gravy. I added some chicken stock and some flour and it was succulent.
02/14/2013
I honey this recipe!
05/21/2008
The meatballs are absolutely delicious. I would requite them 5 stars merely i couldn't believe that a meatball with this much season would be teamed with cream of mushroom soup. I made a cheaters potato soup by blending a can of sliced new potatos with juice a few creams and seasonings then mixed in the meatballs bowtie pasta and sugariness peas and it was perfect!
06/03/2013
Will make this again, very good!
10/06/2016
And so delicious! My 3 year former and picky swain loved it. I was out of breadcrumbs and substituted crushed Ritz crackers, still tasted perfect!
03/12/2009
I fabricated these meatballs final night. I definitely liked the nutmeg in them but information technology lacked something else. There wasn't much else in flavor. Maybe they just need garlic, I don't know. We only didn't care for them also much
04/fourteen/2009
This recipe is a good start but I experience needs a little work. I wil attempt making these once more but I would only put 1/4 of the numeg chosen for. I am not a HUGE nutmeg fan, I believe information technology can add a lot to a recipe and tin too be unforgiving if to much is added. Thanx for the recipe I volition try them again with a few changes
05/06/2008
Made exactly to recipe. Kids liked, husband said it was so-so, I hated. I am a meatball snob though. I thought the gravy of plain canned mushroom soup was bland.
01/26/2009
These meatballs were amazing. I followed the exact recipe, and the only reason I give information technology iv stars was because of the sauce. I idea it was a piffling thick, and could apply a little improving, merely it was terrific.
06/04/2015
There wasn't plenty of the gravy, it was quite dry. I like the proffer of adding some sour cream, I will exercise that adjacent time. I didn't have nutmeg so I used allspice. Probably should purchase some for the next time. There was a taste missing and the nutmeg may have been it. I had a difficult time forming my meatballs, they were rather dry. Peradventure need two eggs next time or cut down the bread crumbs to half a loving cup. Would take appreciated a recommendation of how many ounces of noodles to use.
10/09/2014
Not as well shabby!
02/18/2009
I didn't accept time to saute the onions so I threw them in raw. I cut dorsum on the nutmeg (not a huge fan) and omitted the parsley (hate it). The meatballs turned out a scrap dense and stodgy but that was my fault for existence heavy-handed with the mixing/rolling. This was a decent repast, merely I think I adopt meatballs in a love apple/marinara sauce. Thanks though!
ten/03/2014
Side by side time I make these I will bake them, double the sauce, and cut the nutmeg. It is a skillful start.
12/29/2008
Thsi recipe was very easy and quick. I should take broiled the meatballs equally the other reviewers suggested, and I also used 1/2 tsp. of nutmeg, just I could still taste it, and really didn't care for information technology. I added Worcestershire sauce, likewise. Otherwise, the meatballs were proficient and my husband and ii twelvemonth old had seconds.
08/04/2009
The meatballs are wonderful but we felt similar the sauce was lacking. I ended upwards adding an additional can of golden mushroom soup and a dash of worsh. sauce. We actually enjoyed it with that modification. I also served over egg noodles.
